Requirement
Repair 2no. Jansen 90% double door sets to 2no. glass houses without formal report.
The structure is a bespoke free-style steel system to include clear laminate glass infills.
Work done by Edson Windows Limited
Remove concealed floor springs and top pivots and replace with face welded Janson 100mm butt hinges and face mounted GEZE over-head closers. Back-fill floor closer boxes will concrete to match the local floor finish.
All welds were Magnetic Particle (Dye Penetration) tested for integrity and signed off as compliant to BS EN ISO 23277 Level 1.
All welded areas were re-finished to match existing colour and texture.
Edson Windows were subsequently asked to supply and install genuine Schuco door components to the rest of the estate together with GEZE overhead closers to all aluminium doors.
