We were asked informally to give advice with regards to why the inner pane of toughened glass had shattered, the cause was Nickel sulphide inclusion. By searching through the O&M manual the specifications and dimensions were located and a new DGU was ordered.
Edson Windows arranged the hiring in of the mini crane, scissor lift, rubbish removal, all insurances and road closure items. R.A.M.S. were produced and work permits were issued accordingly.
